How to Calculate CBSE 12th Percentage 2024?

To calculate the percentage, add all the numbers obtained in all the subjects and then divide them by the total subjects (5). Multiply it by 100 (or the total number of 5 subjects) by 100 to get your CBSE percentage marks. For example, let’s say you scored 52 in English, 50 in Maths, 72 in Physics, 80 in Chemistry, and 51 in Biology. Then, to calculate the percentage of marks you need 52+50+72+80+51 = 305, now to calculate the percentage (305/500) X 100 = 61%

How to Calculate CBSE 12th Percentage from CGPA Marks?

To convert their CBSE Class 12 board CGPA into a percentage, students need to follow the steps given below:

  • Add the grade marks of all the main subjects.
  • Divide the added digits by five.
  • Now, multiply the results of your CGPA by 9.5.
  • After that, your CGPA will be converted into percentile.

For example: Suppose, the marks obtained in five main subjects are as follows:

Topic 1 = 9.2
Topic 2 = 8.9
Topic 3 = 9.5
Topic 4 = 8.2
Topic 5 =8.8
Now, the Total even of all subjects = 44.6
So divide this total CGPA by five (44.6)/5 = 8.92
After which your marks will be converted into preferences by multiplying 9.5 with CGPA. E.g. 8.92*9.5 = 84.74%
